Let there be peace on earth, on and on
Let there be love inside the town
Let the butterflies go up and down
With the dandelion blooming around

Wipe away the children’s tear
Wash away those years that were full of hatred and blood
Stare at your window
You will see the wind blowing through the pines
And the sun shining brightly

Make sure that you will kiss away their pain
Help them put on their shoes
Comb their tangled hair
Give them your shelter when they are cold
